Indonesia’s coal output rise by 5%

Indonesia, Asia’s largest coal exporter, produced 254 million tons of coal in 2009, a 5.8 percent increase from 2008 and well ahead of the government’s 230 million ton target, according to figures released by the Energy Ministry on Thursday.

We will definitely see another increase for Y10, not just to secure domestic demands with the completion of several energy crash program project but to aim spot market which is likely to be huge because every major coal mining company eyes on the coal price increase on Y10.
