It was almost midnight when he finally pulled himself together. The crowd subdued. He felt numb inside. He walked slowly to the icy ceiling-to-floor  window. It was the only thing between him and her. He knelt down, tears streaked his face.

“I’m a stranded man without you, but I have to let you go,” he whispered his mind.

The picture was taken when I was stranded at the airport for nearly 8 hours. I saw a man sitting nearby power outlet, exhausted yet smiling while texting.
